Audria N. Scott

Springfield - Audria N. (Noyes) Gray Scott, 94, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on July 24, 2014 at Wingate of West Springfield.  She was born in Monson, MA on January 27, 1920 to the late Arthur and Etta (Bacon) Noyes.  She graduated from the High School of Commerce, Springfield. Audria was a supervisor at Monarch Life Insurance Co. for over 30 years.  She was a member of the Springfield Golden Age Club, a volunteer at Baystate Medical Center and a former member of Old First Church.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Gray in 1974; her second husband, F. Leonard Scott; and several brothers and sisters.  She leaves her sons, Scott Gray and his wife Rose Malinowski of Easthampton, MA and Barry Gray and his wife Sherry of Cheshire, CT; 3 grandchildren, James Gray and his wife Morgan, Alicia and Katy Gray; one great-grandchild, Elliot Gray. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, July 28th from 6-7PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow followed by a funeral home service beginning at 7PM.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to MSPCA for the prevention of cruelty to animals at www.mspca.org.
