Daniel L. Stosick Jr.

Daniel L. Stosick, Jr., 50, of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Born in Fort Campbell, KY on May 11, 1967, he was the son of Daniel L. Stosick, Sr. and the late Mary Alice (Laptew) Stosick. Daniel traveled the world with his family while his father was in the military before settling in Granville and eventually Westfield. Daniel graduated from Southwick High School in 1986 and received his Tractor Trailer license from NETTS. He began his driving career for a family owned business, Here To There Transport before working for Flemings Transportation in Connecticut. Daniel was one of the kindest people you’d know; he always had a story or a joke to tell. He was a kind soul who left a great impact on those he encountered. He’ll be dearly missed by his family and friends. He leaves his father, Daniel L. Stosick, Sr. of Granville; his sister, Leigh Unsderfer of Westfield, and his nephew and niece, Jonathan Lansing and Megan Unsderfer. He was predeceased by his mom, Mary Stosick. His family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24th from 2-3 PM with a Memorial Service to take place at 3 PM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick.
