Robert Edward Taddia

Robert "Bob" E. Taddia, 75, of Springfield, MA, passed away on Tuesday March 26, 2024. He was born on February 10, 1949, in Springfield, MA. Bob graduated from Springfield Technical High School in 1967. He was a champion football player and a student patrol chief. For over 20 years, Bob worked as a telephone technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed carpentry work.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl (Nowak) Taddia, his son Marc Taddia and wife Maria, daughter Deena Taddia and fiancé Nick Archer, and grandchildren Sophia, Vincenzo, Niccolo, Kyla, Elijah, Evan, Lauren, and Diane. Bob was preceded in death by his father Louis H. Taddia, mother Anne M. (Martone) Taddia, brother Louis V. Taddia, and sister Geraldine "Jerry" Murray.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 N Main St., East Longmeadow, MA, on Friday April 5, 2024 from 5pm - 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 6, 2024 at 8:45am at the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Michael's Parish, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Springfield.
