Obituary

Our dear mother, Rose (Staltare) Graziano, was born March 4, 1925, in Springfield. She lived in Agawam, Holyoke and Greenfield and peacefully passed away on March 8, 2024, and was reunited with her husband Arthur J. Graziano (who passed away on May 20th, 1980) and her daughter Ann Marie Bishop (who passed away on April 24, 2008).
Surviving Rose is her daughter, Nina Sibley and her husband Michael of Northfield; and her sons, Joseph and his husband Neil of South Hadley, Theodore and his wife Beth of Louisiana, Paul and his wife Donna of Springfield, and Gerald and his wife Karen of New York; along with 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren!
She grew up in the “South End” of Springfield, graduated from the High School of Commerce, passed a civil service test, and worked at the Springfield Armory during WWII in the photo lab. For most or her career she worked at W.J. Foss in West Springfield. As a devout Catholic she prayed every day to her Lord for her family and friends. She loved her family, Sunday dinners, visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren, crossword puzzles, scrabble games and …. The Golden Girls.
Her legacy of living an unselfish life, caring for her family and thinking and praying for others will live on through the many lives that she has touched.
