Andrea F. LaCour

AGAWAM - Andrea F. LaCour, 80, passed away peacefully January 9, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born December 5, 1941 in Springfield, MA, she was a daughter to the late Exodius J. and Irene M. (Provost) Caron. Andrea was employed for several years within the Treasury Department for Mass Mutual and most recently was a Cafeteria Server for Agawam Public Schools prior to her retirement. She had a love for dogs, especially her canine companion Oreo and also Snickers, who had predeceased her. Andrea enjoyed traveling and especially the beach, as well as trips to Disney. Her greatest passion however, was spending time with her family. She will be missed by her husband of 60 years Edward R. LaCour Jr.; daughters Caron A. LaCour and Renee Albee; her granddaughter who she adored Jessica C. Vaughn, and numerous other loving relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Irving F. Caron. A gathering of family and friends for Andrea will be held from 1-3PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. A private burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
