Elda J. Sitek

Elda J. Sitek, 91, passed away on September 1, 2019 at her home in Feeding Hills surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ludlow, MA on January 28, 1928 to the late Antonio and Elvira (Bracci) Piangerelli.  She was a graduate of Commerce High School and was formerly employed by Indian Motorcycles, later retiring from the John H. Breck Credit Union as assistant treasurer.  Elda, along with her late husband of 50 years, Bernard F. Sitek, loved skiing and were faithful communicants of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills.  Elda is survived by her brother-in-law Daniel J. Sitek, her nieces and nephews Robert J. Sitek Jr., Barry F. Sitek, Karen Campito, Pamela Tellier and Mary Bousquet as well as several great nieces and nephews.  A funeral service for Elda will be held Saturday September 7, 2019 beginning at 11AM from Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main Street, Agawam followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 PM at Sacred Heart Church, 1061 Springfield St., Feeding Hills, MA.   Interment will follow in Springfield Street Cemetery, Feeding Hills.  Calling hours will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elda's name to Brightside for Families and Children, 1233 Main St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
