Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Gamache

Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Gamache (Camyre) passed away peacefully on February 7, 2020. She was born on January 17, 1962 to the late Paul and Elizabeth (Hanscom) Camyre and grew up in Palmer, MA where she formed lifelong friendships within the Temple St neighborhood. She attended Holyoke Community College earning an Associate’s degree in Executive Secretarial studies. Liz began her career with Ryan & White Law Firm, and from there worked for Attorney Bruce Leiter of Ryan Martin Costello & Leiter. She was last employed by Martinelli Discenza, P.C.

Liz enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, hosting parties and holidays for family and friends, and spending numerous summers on Lake Sherman waterskiing, ski bobbing, and playing board games. She loved vacationing at the beach with her children, attending their sporting events/recitals, and taking them to her sisters pool with their friends.

Liz is survived by her children, Ben and Lauren Gamache and their father, Tim, brother Peter (wife Mindy) Camyre, nieces and nephews, Phillip King Jr., Jeff King, Melissa Carreira (husband Joe), Kyle Camyre (fiancé Sarah Mackay), Layla King, Maddox and Sullivan Carreira. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Camyre Jr. and sister, Mary King.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11a.m. at St. Cecilia’s church in Wilbraham. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
