Flo worked as an Executive Secretary for Rexnord for many years before working in the East Longmeadow school system until retirement. She was an avid reader who loved biographies, quotations, and poetry. Several of her own poems were published in various publications.
Always dressed in high heels, wearing the latest styles, and fully accessorized, Flo maintained an impeccable sense of fashion throughout her life.
Her family and her faith meant everything to her and was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She enjoyed meeting people, going to new places, and making new friends. Known for living life to the fullest, she traveled extensively well into her 80s, making several trips to Europe, including Greece – a lifelong dream of hers.
She is survived by her loving children Paul Dunia and his wife Immacolata of South Windsor, CT, her daughter Lisa Medeiros and her husband Jeff of Annandale, NJ. She leaves four beloved grandchildren, Stephanie Dunia, Ryan Dunia, Christopher Medeiros, and Jake Medeiros.
