James D'Haene

HOLYOKE- James H. D’Haene, 64, Ascended Into the Journey of Everlasting Life, on June 15, 2018 from Baystate Medical Center. Jimmy was born in Flint, Michigan on February 6, 1954 to Carol (Sly) D’Haene of East Longmeadow and the late Henry D’Haene. He was a resident of Holyoke, all his life.
Jimmy will be remembered as a “big guy” with an even “bigger heart” who would do anything for anyone. He loved music, especially the songs of Elton John.  Jimmy was predeceased in 1990 by his twin brother, Barry D’Haene. He will be missed by his mother, his sisters, Carol Dreher of White Plains, NY, Susan Rosow (Leonard) of Jupiter, FL, and Nancy Kosakowski (Richard) of East Longmeadow, and his nieces and nephews. The family will gather on Friday (June 22, 2018) from 9:30AM-11:00AM and receive friends in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, concluding with a funeral home service at 11:00AM. His burial will follow in the Longmeadow Cemetery, on Williams St., Longmeadow.  Jimmy’s family would like to thank the staff of Fallon Health for the kind and considerate care they provided.
