Joanne M. Campagnari

Joanne Marie Campagnari, 74, of West Springfield passed on June 3rd. She was born in Westfield to the late Alexander and Frances Monczka. Joanne was a 1964 graduate of Southwick High School. She later worked for many years as the parish secretary at Our Lady of the Lake in Southwick. Joanne will always be remembered for her excellent craft skills, including a cherished wedding veil. She was also a fantastic cook whose lasagna and galumpki will be missed. She also enjoyed gardening and the hummingbirds that would visit. Joanne was a dedicated Bruins and Nascar fan, and she never missed her “stories” on tv. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings William Monczka, Alice Wojcik and Dorothy Gonneau. Joanne leaves a large and loving family including her husband Lewis J. Campagnari, her children Mark Frappier of Southwick, Daniel J. Frappier and wife Christine of Westfield, and Darlene Tousignant husband Steven of Leesburg, VA. She also leaves her step daughters Debra Martin (John), Lynda Hawkins (William), Bethanne Cummings (Thomas), and Dina Dugan (Girard); her five adoring grandchildren Nathan, Joshua, Matthew, Christopher, and Nicolle, one great grandchild Matthew Raymond, and nine step-grandchildren; as well as her siblings Alexander Monczka, and Irene Waniewski; and one grand puppy, Brody. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home for a period of visitation on Thursday June 10th from 4-7pm. Her funeral will follow beginning on Friday the 11th at the funeral home beginning at 10:30, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to follow at 12:00pm at St. John’s in Agawam. Committal services will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam beginning at 1pm.
