Judith A. Dawson

Longmeadow – Judith Ann (Santaniello) Dawson, 78, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on July 31, 2018.  She was born in Springfield to the late Henry Enirco Santaniello and Alice (Kotlarski) Santaniello on February 1, 1940 and was a 1957 graduate of The High School of Commerce.  Judith worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Revenue, Welfare Department Support Unit for 25 years.  She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow, a wonderful cook, and a lover of animals especially her faithful companion and loving dog, “Cocoboy”. Judith leaves her loving husband of 59 years, William Dawson; her son, Mark Dawson of Longmeadow; her daughter, Sherri James and her husband Corey also of Longmeadow; grandsons, Jason and Tyler; a brother, Gregory Santaniello and his wife Diane of Ludlow; and many nephews and nieces. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Saturday, August 4th at 10AM in Longmeadow Cemetery, Williams St., Longmeadow.
