Katarina Boskovic

Longmeadow – Katarina “Kat” Boskovic, 18, passed away tragically May 7, 2022. Born September 16, 2003 in Boston, MA, she was a daughter to Svjetlan and Ognjenka Boskovic. Katarina was preparing for graduation in 3 weeks from Longmeadow High School and had been accepted to McGill University in Montreal, Canada where she was going to begin to fulfil her dream of becoming a physician. Kat was a superb all honors student with highest academic achievements throughout her short career. She was President of the National Honor Society. At the same time she had a passion for running and was a decorated track and field athlete with numerous medals and awards. Kat had an amazing personality and was always lending a helping hand. She volunteered countless hours as a track coach and tutor assisting others to succeed. She also loved downhill skiing, swimming and traveling. She will truly be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. In addition to her parents Svjetlan and Ognjenka, she will be dearly missed by her brother Max, cousins Luka and Lola, uncle Vladimir, aunts Karen, Natasha and Mira, grandparents Nada, Milivoje and Mira, along with other loving relatives and numerous dear friends. Calling hours for Kat will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4-7PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow. A service to remember and honor Katarina’s life will be held at 9:30AM on Saturday, May 14th at St. Mary’s Church, 519 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow.
