Keith Alan Denis

West Springfield – Keith Alan Denis died unexpectedly September 30, 2019 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Springfield on July 18, 1953 to the late Joseph and Doris (Crevier) Denis. Keith grew up in Southwick, and after graduating High School he went on to college where he earned technical certificates. Keith worked in construction and until his recent retirement he was the Construction Project Superintendent for KBE Building Corporation. He was a lifelong big game hunter and fisherman, a member of the NRA, and his love of the outdoors soon moved him to New Hampshire with his wife Cheryl for 34 years. He was always outdoors, and he traveled to beautiful places such as Montana and Brazil to hunt and fish. He was a playful and generous man with a contagious laugh that was recognized everywhere he was. He loved his family and spending time with them, and he was a devoted son, husband, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed by his wife Cheryl Denis; his brothers Joseph Denis and his wife Carol and Chris Denis; his sisters Donna Calabrese and her husband Tom, Diane Denis-Gale and her husband Andrew and Darla Denis; his nephews and nieces Jessi Cushenberry, Joseph Denis, Joseph Calabrese, Michael Calabrese, Danielle Calabrese-Brown, Dorrie Boyd, Jeffrey Denis, Keith Denis, Jeffrey Orlandi, Jennifer Kos, Joshua Despard, Angela Despard, Shana Dubay and Jason Dubay; his aunt Dolores Breault, and many extended family and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday October 9, 2019 from 3-6pm in the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick MA. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm.
