Obituary

Linda Painchaud Steinman, 69, passed away peacefully on January 10th, after a short illness.
She was Born October 19, 1952 in Springfield MA., daughter to the late Mary Ciollaro Painchaud and Joseph Painchaud.
Linda graduated from Cathedral High School. She also attended STCC and Bay Path College.
Linda was an accomplished writer and was former President and publisher of Dead of Night Magazine, which had National distribution, and former owner of Park Edge Books. She was also employed at the Springfield Newspapers and the Jewish Family Service of Springfield.
One of Linda's joys was to perform in plays throughout the state with the Longmeadow Senior Theater.
In addition to her parents, Linda was pre-deceased by her Brother Fred "Patty" Martin and her Brother-In-Law Vincent DeSantis.
She will be deeply missed by her longtime partner Robert Richard of Longmeadow, her daughter Jessica Steinman of Holyoke, her former husband Frederick Steinman of Longmeadow, her Sisters June DeSantis of Agawam, Carol Stearns and husband Ron of Sierra Vista AZ. and several Nephews and Nieces.
Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to Dakin Humane Society, P.O. Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101.
