Lorraine M. White

EAST LONGMEADOW- Lorraine White, 95, died peacefully at her home in East Longmeadow on August 21, 2019. She was the wife of the late Holger White. Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Beauchemin) Madden. Mrs. White attended Springfield Catholic Schools and was a graduate of Cathedral High School. She was an executive secretary at Gilbert Barker Co. before becoming a homemaker to raise her three children. She was also a communicant of St. Michael’s Parish in East Longmeadow. Mrs. White is survived by her three children; Dr. Gregory White of Manchester, NH; Kristine Lynch of Plantsville, CT; and Nancy White of Arlington, MA. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visiting hour from 9:30AM-10:30AM on Monday, August 26 at the Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. Michael’s Parish, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow.
