Madeliene Janet Dowd

Southwick – Madeliene J. (Morrison) Dowd, 81, devoted wife of William M. Dowd, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2019.
Born in Enfield, Connecticut to the late William and Margaret (McComb) Morrison. Madeliene was a resident of Southwick since 1980.
Prior to retirement, she was employed in Hospitality for such notable places as Storrowton and the former Mt. Laurel Restaurant in Enfield. Madeliene was also a member of Southwick Congregational Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Carol Pfeifer and Laura Pettus both of Somers, Connecticut.
Friends may call on the Southwick Forastiere Family Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, (Highway 10/202), Southwick on Monday (June 3, 2019) from 10:00 AM until 11:00AM, when a funeral home service will begin. Burial will follow in the Springfield Street Cemetery, Feeding Hills.
