May (Lemire) “Terry” Tucker, 91, a Southwick resident for the past 22 years, passed away on October 31, 2018. She was born in Hartford, CT a daughter of the late Wilfred J. Lemire Sr. and Yvonne (Fournier) Lemire. Terry lived in East Granby, CT and graduated from Simsbury High School. She retired from Advance Manufacturing Company in Westfield; where she lived for many years with her husband Bob. Terry was a very active parishioner of St. Mary’s Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” H. Tucker; two brothers, Alfred Lemire and George Lemire; and a sister, Barbara Roy.
Terry is survived by two brothers, Henry Lemire of Vernon, CT, Wilfred “Joe” Lemire Jr. of Manchester, CT; a sister, Ida McLaughlin of Middletown, CT; and many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will take place on Monday (November 5, 2018) from 9:00 AM – 10:00AM in the Southwick Forastiere Family Funeral Home, 624 College Highway (Highway 10/202). Funeral services will begin at 10:00AM from the funeral home. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00AM in St. Mary’s Church, in Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 203 Southampton Rd, Westfield.
