Octavia Sostre Ortiz passed away on May 25, 2023. She was born on November 20, 1939 in Maunabo Puerto Rico. Octavia was born to Gabriel Sostre and Rosaura Ortiz. Octavia better known as Tata by her family and friends is survived by two sons Geovani Sánchez and Juan Sánchez; and by five daughters Iris Agnello, Carmen Sanchez, Ivette Bosnjak, Betzaida Weber and Anabell Sanchez. Her son Orlando Sanchez and daughter Milta Sostre predeceased her. Tata is survived by 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The viewing hours are from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday May 31, 2023 at Forastiere Family Funeral located in 45 Locust Street, Springfield Massachusetts. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be officiated by Pastor Luz E. Roque starting at 11:00 am.
