Robert W. Bozek

Robert “Bobby” Wayne Bozek, 65, passed away peacefully April 28, 2021. Born September 17, 1955 in Springfield, MA he was a son to the late Joseph and Mary D. (Daniele) Bozek. He was a 1973 graduate of Technical High School and enjoyed playing in the high school band. He was employed with Cartamundi in East Longmeadow and was a member and volunteer with the Chicopee Elk’s Club. Bobby enjoyed organizing the Milton Bradley Twenty Five Year Club, Tech High School Reunion and golf tournament in memory of his friend, Bumper. Bob had a very generous heart and enjoyed his cruises to many places as well as traveling to Las Vegas and Atlantic City with his good friends Jeff and Al. He loved spending time on his boat and shared many happy memories with family at Old Lyme Beach. He will truly be missed by his many loving family and friends. He is survived by his Uncle and Aunt Carmino and Margaret Daniele, Aunt Olympia Daniele all of Chicopee and several other loving relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Bobby was predeceased by his Grandparents Antonio and Anna Daniele; Uncle Gerardo Daniele; and Aunt and Uncle Eda and Raymond Blair. A funeral service for Bobby will begin at 9AM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Forastiere Funeral Home, 45 Locust St., Springfield, MA with a Liturgy of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 10AM, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Springfield. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield. There will be a calling hour from 8-9AM on Wednesday, May 5th prior to the service at the funeral home.
