Ronald W. Dion

WILBRAHAM – Ronald Walter Dion, 64, passed away on June 8, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA on June 9, 1953, he was the son of Loretta (Burnett) Dion and the late Francis Dion. For over 30 years, Ron was employed at Mass Mutual. He enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music, going to concerts and cooking. He also loved spending time with his beloved family and with his dog Kyra. To  cherish his memory, Ron leaves his sons Jeffrey Dion and his fiancée Ashley Gralia and Conor Dion; his former wife Barbara (Caliento) Dion; forever friend and partner Maddie Kwiatkowski and her children Steve, Chris and Steph; siblings Stephen, Michael, Robert, James and Kim Dion as well as his best friend of 42 years Tim Dunley. Family and friends are invited to gather for Ron’s Liturgy of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 10 AM at Holy Cross Parish 221 Plumtree Road, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the T.J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center (payable to TJO Foundation) 627 Cottage Street  Springfield, MA 01104.
