Ruth L. Rosner
March 4, 1933 ~ August 18, 2018 (age 85) 85 Years Old
Ruth L. Rosner, 85, passed away on August 18th, 2018 in Wingate of Hampden. Born in Springfield on March 4th, 1933 to the late William and Bernice (Wright) Maynard, she attended local schools and was a 1952 graduate of the former Springfield Trade School. She worked various jobs in the community working as a home health aide and delivering newspapers, and helping her husband Edward run his auto repair garage. They resided in Wilbraham for 55 years where she was member of the Grace Union Church. She loved her pets, especially the ones she rescued, and spending time in her garden. Her greatest joy was being with her children and loving grandchildren. Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Edward G. Rosner, who passed away October 19th, 2015. To cherish her memory she leaves behind two sons, Steven Rosner and his wife Melinda of Springfield, Todd Rosner and his wife Rhonda of Andover; a daughter, Susan Fitzgerald and her husband David of Springfield; six grandchildren, Kristine, Edward, Amanda, Mason, Beckett, and Lincoln; and 3 great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Memorial donations may be made to the Thomas J.
