Stanley J. Bandoski

EAST LONGMEADOW – Stanley J. Bandoski, Jr., 83, passed away on October 8, 2021. Born in Springfield, MA on March 30, 1938, he was the son of the late Stanley Bandoski and Rachel (Jennings) (Bandoski) Ryan.

For 58 years, he worked at Hampden Engineering Corp. In his spare time, he was a member of the Knights of the Columbus and was a former Grand Knight. He also enjoyed hunting and bowling.

As longtime and faithful member of St. Michael’s Parish in East Longmeadow, Stan served as a Eucharist Minister as well.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Jane B. McCreadie. To cherish his memory, Stan leaves his loving wife of 62 years, Beverly J. (Work) Bandoski of East Longmeadow; his sons Stanley J. Bandoski, III of Monson and David M. Bandoski and his wife Benita of Feeding Hills; his grandchildren Emily and her husband Matt, Jonathan and his wife Kelly and Samuel; his great grandchildren Naomi and Lucy as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 4 – 7 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 14 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM at St. Michael’s Parish, 128 Maple Street, East Longmeadow. Entombment will be in the Most Holy Redeemer Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Tinkham Road, Springfield.
