Tea Maria Bartolo

Tea Maria (Florimonte) Bartolo, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2020 at Hospice of the Fisher Home, Amherst. Born November 12, 1925 in Siderno Marina, Italy, she was the daughter to the late Gennaro and Anna (Petrolo) Florimonte. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio Bartolo in 2004, and was employed as a seamstress retiring in 1989. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother, and will be remembered by all for her cooking, especially Sunday dinners. She leaves behind her 3 sons Rino Bartolo of San Diego, CA, Joseph and his wife, Maria of East Longmeadow and Anthony and his wife Concetta of Springfield; 5 cherished grandchildren Alessandro Bartolo of San Diego, CA, Michael and his fiancée Kayla of Vernon, CT, Vanessa and her boyfriend Raul and Lorenzo Bartolo all of San Diego, CA and Marco Bartolo of Spfld. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter Maya, and many nieces, nephews, and siblings in the USA, Canada and Italy. Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 1st at 10AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield with entombment following in the St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum, Springfield.
