Terence “Terry” Garner, 66, of Agawam, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 14, 2019. He was born June 2, 1952 in Stockport, England. He was the son of the late Alan and Patricia Garner. He leaves behind his life partner Jen Simpson of Agawam, his daughter Heather Wironen and her husband Jim of Gardner, his step daughter Caitlin and her partner Ted of Northampton. The light of his life was his granddaughter Audrey Wironen, nothing brought him more joy than being her Papa. Terry was an avid Red Sox fan, a talented cook, and had a passion for gardening. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and close friends. Terry was proudly affiliated with The Melha Shriners, Scottish Rite, and was a Past Master of Brigham Lodge in Ludlow. He participated in numerous committees and was involved in countless community service projects. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 19th at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home in Agawam from 1 to 3 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Ceremony beginning at 3p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Terry’s name to the Red Sox Foundation, 4 Jersey St., Boston, MA 02215 or the Montgomery Fire Department Scholarship in Chief Steve Frye’s name, 154 Main Rd., Montgomery, MA 01085.
