Obituary

Hampden – Teresa M. (Trimboli) Dangleis, 84, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, Teresa was the daughter of Vincenzo and Maria (Misitano) Trimboli and graduated from the High School of Commerce in 1951. Being married to an Airman, Teresa and her close-knit family saw different areas of the world including California, Japan, and Idaho, before finally settling in Hampden, MA. Terry was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hampden. She was a Bookkeeper for many years for Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer and was Treasurer of American Asphalt Products in Wilbraham. One of Teresa’s greatest joys was her family. She lovingly created traditions that will be remembered and carried on for generations to come. She will be remembered for her strong faith, incredible cooking, fun-loving spirit, and being an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Teresa was predeceased by her devoted husband of fifty years, William Dangleis, who passed away in 2002. She is survived by her loving children: Deborah Parisi and her husband Jack of Atlanta GA, James and his wife Jill of Monson, William of Wilbraham, Thomas and his wife Judy of East Longmeadow, Robert and his wife Monique of Monson; her six adored grandchildren: William, Kelly, Lee, Mark, Beau and Abby : and six great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Bailey, Kadence, Bradley, Emilee and Noah; her sister Marianne Reale; and her cherished neighbors and friends. Besides her husband and parents, Teresa was predeceased by her brother Joseph Trimboli and her grandson Dean.
A celebration of Teresa’s life will begin with visiting hours on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home on 220 North Main Street in East Longmeadow; and continue on Tuesday, October 9th 9:45am at the funeral home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hampden. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Donations may be made in Teresa’s memory to Wounded Warrior Project.
