Wanda H. LeMere

Wanda “Jane” LeMere 1918 – 2021. Wanda “Jane” LeMere, 102, died April 15th at Mary’s Meadow, Holyoke. Wanda had lived 15 years in Southwick at the American Inn, after moving from Westfield where she lived for 30 years. She married Armon LeMere on May 20, 1941. Armon passed away in 2008.
Wanda was born April 19, 1918 in Ann Arbor Michigan, daughter of Henry and Gladys Hartwell. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas of North Kingstown, Rhode Island and Frederick (Alice) of Brookfield, Wisconsin. She is also survived by two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a brother, Darold Hartwell.
Wanda was an excellent cook and loved crafts. She produced many fine rugs and ceramics, most of which she gave away. She was an avid reader and never met a crossword puzzle she couldn’t conquer.
Arrangements will be private and are entrusted to Southwick- Forastiere Funeral and Cremation Services. Donations may be made to Mary’s Meadow at Providence Place, 5 Gamelin Street, Holyoke Massachusetts, 01040.
