William G. Paullis Jr., 78, of Granby, CT; passed away peacefully July 30, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 16, 1939 in Bridgeport, CT, the son to Lillian (Simmons) and the late William G. Paullis Sr. Bill served his country proudly with the U.S. Navy from 1957-60. He was a welder and sales representative for a variety of companies including Jaeger Corp., Ivy Industries, CT Air Gas and Shoreline Compress Gas. He was predeceased by his wife Marie T. (Callahan) Paullis in 2013; his son, William G. Paullis Jr. in 1999; twin daughters who preceded him in 1970 and daughter-in-law Maryclaire in 2015. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Matthew M. Paullis and his wife Connie, of Salisbury, MA, Kevin Jay Paullis of Newton, NH, James Jude Paullis Sr. and his wife Katie, of Preston, CT, Eleanor Anne Marie Loughran and her husband Donald, of Granby, CT; grandchildren, Kaley Paullis, Megan Paullis, Sarah Paullis, Emily Paullis, Liam Paullis, Eli Paullis, James Paullis Jr., Colin Paullis, Shayla Loughran and Mackenzie Loughran; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours for Bill will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 985 Main St., Agawam. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, August 3rd at St. John the Evangelist Church, 823 Main St., Agawam.
