David P. Curley Jr.

Agawam – David Powers Curley, Jr., 65, of Agawam, passed away at home on Tuesday April 17, 2017. Born in Richmond, Virginia to the late David P. Sr. and Arlington (Bowen) Curley, he graduated from Windsor, CT High School. After high school, he married Gail (Sturtevant) Curley and together they began a beautiful family. Throughout his career, David was employed with UMASS as the Director of Trademark and Licensing Administration. David loved cooking, reading, talking and giving advice as well as relaxing at home with his family. Besides his loving wife of 45 years, Gail, he is survived by his children David P. Curley, III, Danielle Circosta and Jessica Ross as well as his daughter and sons-in-law, Kate, Anthony and Jeremy; his four siblings, William, Dennis, Daniel and Eileen Curley; his seven grandchildren, Mikayla, Liam, Kylie, AJ, Adrianna, Brynn and JJ; many nieces and nephews, his sister-in-law, Linda and her husband John; brother-in-law, Bob, as well as his faithful K-9 Companion, Murphy. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Kevin Curley.
The family will announce a Memorial Service that will be held at a later date. Colonial Forastiere Family Funeral and Cremation is entrusted with the arrangements.
