Debra A. Barnard

East Longmeadow- Debra A. Barnard (Pimental), 54, passed away suddenly and peacefully on July 12, 2014 at her home. She was born in Lynn, MA to Richard Pimental and Marion Jefferson. Debbie attended Holyoke schools and was a home health aide. She has lived in East Longmeadow for the last 24 years with her best friend and loving husband Donald Barnard Jr.(DJ). Besides being survived by her husband DJ, she leaves behind her three sons; Donald III of East Longmeadow, Jeremiah and his wife Stephanie, Christopher and Melanie; three grandchildren; Tyler, Mia and Miley; two loving nieces that lived with her; Makenzie and Christy; nephew Eric Moser; her devoted mother and father, Marion and Joseph Machnacz; her sisters, Annette Provost and husband Gary, Tina Gauthier and husband Carl and Lisa Machnacz ; brother Joey Machnacz and wife Karen. She also leaves her loving mother and father- in- law Patrica and Donald Barnard; sister- in- law Joanne Bernier and her husband Ken ,Nancy and Carl Barnard/Davignon, Susan Kirk and husband  Brian and many aunts ,uncles ,nieces, nephews ,cousins and loving friends. She was predeceased by her brother Ricky Pimental; best friend Pam Pouliot and father Richard Pimental and her dog “Buddy”. The Barnard family would like to thank the Mercy Sr. Caritas Cancer Center for the love and support during this time. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 4-7pm at the Forastiere-Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street East Longmeadow, MA 01028. A funeral service will be on Friday, July 18 beginning at the funeral home at 10:30 AM followed by a prayer service at 11:15.
